Our hearts are heavy this morning as we mourn the loss of members of our community who were victims of last night鈥檚 tragic UPS plane crash. This accident hits close to home for many of us as business leaders who strive everyday to keep our employees safe. GLI sends our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, to the employees of UPS and all surrounding businesses who are mourning colleagues or customers, and to all the businesses who suffered damage and are working to pick up the pieces. I want to send a special thank you to our first responders who courageously sprung into action to keep our community safe and prevent even further destruction.听听

Our elected officials and public servants have done a wonderful job keeping our community updated and safe. Please continue following local news sources and their guidance for shelter-in-place, and areas to avoid near the crash site. GLI is working to reach out to all surrounding businesses to assess any way that our business community can support and we will share more as information becomes available.听听听
