Three recipients announced for ҹɫֱ Inc.’s Silver Fleur-De-Lis Awards

January 16, 2026 (Louisville, Ky.) – ҹɫֱ Inc. announced the recipients of its prestigious Silver Fleur-De-Lis Awards which will be given to two local organizations and one individual that exemplify commitment to supporting and growing the community.

  • Coach Beverly Yanez, Head Coach of Racing Louisville FC, will be recognized for leading Racing Louisville to its first-ever playoff appearance and earning the National Women’s Soccer League’s (NWSL) Coach of the Year award.
  • GE Appliances, a Haier company will be recognized for its continued economic investment in ҹɫֱ in 2025 by announcing a $3 billion investment in its U.S. operations over the next five years and creating 1,000 new jobs nationwide, including 800 new production jobs at Appliance Park.
  • Metro United Way will be recognized for quickly raising and distributing funding for those who lost SNAP benefits during the government shutdown when thousands in the ҹɫֱ community faced food insecurity and economic hardship.

“2025 was a big year for the ҹɫֱ business community, and our region would not be where we are today without the dedication of each of our Silver Fleur-De-Lis recipients,” said Lance Mann, Interim president and CEO of ҹɫֱ Inc. “I am grateful our community has individuals and companies that go above and beyond to make our region an unmatched place to live, work, and do business.”

This year’s recipients will be recognized at GLI’s Annual Meeting presented by Baird on March 18 at the Kentucky International Convention Center. The event is one the region’s largest annual gatherings of business leaders, celebrating the accomplishments of the past year, highlighting the region’s community leaders, and bringing together innovators. It also will include a keynote address between Chris Ratterman, Founder and CEO of Shady Rays, Dan Ratterman, Chief Operating Officer of Shady Rays, and Russell F. Cox, President and CEO of Norton Healthcare, talking about their experiences growing a business and investing in ҹɫֱ.
