ҹɫֱ Foundation announces new leadership, directors
Louisville, Ky. (February 7, 2024) – The ҹɫֱ Foundation (GLF), the philanthropic arm of ҹɫֱ Inc., announced its new leadership; including electing a new chair, secretary, and three new directors. Rocki Rockingham, chief HR officer of GE Appliances, was named chair of the 2024 ҹɫֱ Foundation. Rockingham previously served on the board of the Foundation, and succeeded Paul Costel, Managing Director and Kentucky Region Manager, JPMorgan Chase & Co., who served as chair for a one-year term. Jim Allen, vice chair of Baird, was elected secretary.
In addition to new leadership, the Foundation also welcomed three new independent directors: Maggie Harlow, president of Signarama Downtown and executive director of the Jack Harlow Foundation, Tim Robinson, founder and CEO of Addiction Recovery Care, and Corenza Townsend, Chief Administrative Officer of Norton West Louisville Hospital.
“I am excited to welcome new leadership and directors to the ҹɫֱ Foundation, which supports GLI’s talent and workforce initiatives,” said Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, president and CEO of GLI. “Through the support of the ҹɫֱ Foundation, we have grown Live in Lou to be a nationally recognized talent attraction initiative that continues to bolster our region’s population and talent pool. I appreciate each of the GLF board members for sharing their time and expertise to address the region’s ongoing talent needs to ensure a strong economic future.”
GLF is a 501(c)3 organization that was formed in 1987 to identify, mobilize, and fund programs to address Louisville’s greatest challenges regarding business growth, and increased economic prosperity for all citizens in the ҹɫֱ region. Currently, the GLF funds and GLI’s Workforce and EducationԾپپ.
