夜色直播 Inc. unveils bold new strategy for economic prosperity
Louisville, Ky.聽(February 12, 2025) 鈥撀犚股辈� Inc. unveiled its new five-year strategic plan, Prosper 2030, which focuses on job creation, population growth, economic inclusion, and pro-business advocacy to spur long-term prosperity in the region. Prosper 2030 was created through a months-long process of surveying the 夜色直播 business community on their top concerns and priorities, and long-term vision for the region.
Prosper 2030 outlines several key goals to achieve in the next five years, including:
- Creating 6,000 new jobs
- Advocating for a more competitive tax code
- Streamlining Louisville鈥檚 land development code
- Growing the working age population by 41,000
- Expanding business involvement with the JCPS Academies of Louisville
- Graduating 70 businesses from GLI鈥檚 Power to Prosper Business Accelerator
鈥淏y 2030, we want our region to have more jobs, people, and opportunities than ever before. Prosper 2030 is a transformational initiative for regional economic growth that focuses on four key areas to create a future where 夜色直播 leads the way in innovation, opportunity, and prosperity,鈥� said Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, president and CEO of 夜色直播 Inc.
In addition to setting the region up for growth over the next several decades, a study by the University of Louisville College of Business estimates that when the plan is fully funded and actualized, it will create $6.8 billion in economic impact.
Through a rigorous feedback process, GLI investors and partners recommended a continued focus on regional economic development, advocacy, economic inclusion, and talent attraction, and also recommended addressing public safety concerns and collaborating with partners to spur downtown development. Other new initiatives outlined in Prosper 2030 are:
- Implementing a paid social media campaign targeting 鈥渂oomerang鈥� talent that previously lived in the region with the goal of relocating them.
- Collaborating with Louisville Tourism, higher education institutions, and alumni associations to host talent attraction events in other markets.
- Redeveloping and relaunching the website to add more capabilities for jobseekers.
- More deeply coordinating with higher education institutions and career services offices to retain talent
- Adding additional security cameras downtown.
- Advocating for local property tax abatement and policies to increase the housing supply at all levels.
鈥淧rosper 2030 is a plan for the business community built by the business community. Prosper 2030 was officially unveiled at GLI鈥檚 Annual Meeting presented by Baird last night, where 1,200 business leaders gathered to celebrate accomplishments in 2024 and coalesce around goals for the year ahead. The event included remarks from GLI leadership, the presentation of the inaugural recognizing the Norton Healthcare Goodwill Opportunity Campus and two to Teddy Abrams and AT&T Kentucky. The event concluded with a keynote discussion between Jim Rechtin, president and CEO of Humana, and Joe Ventura, chief legal officer of Humana, discussing the company鈥檚 commitment to Louisville and expectations for the year ahead.
